Mimo Commissions and Fees

At Mimo, we aim to provide a transparent and fair fee structure for our users. This policy outlines the charges and fees applicable to transactions conducted on our platform, where buyers and sellers can digitally exchange the copyright of their media, including photos and videos.

1. Commission fees

  • Seller Mimo Platform Fee: 10% of the total sale price.
  • Buyer Mimo Platform Fee: 10% of the total sale price.

2. Active account fees

Sellers may be charged an active account fee only in months when a transaction occurs. No fee is charged in months without activity.

  • Active Account Fee: £0.50 per active transaction month.

3. Seller safe payment fee

To ensure secure payments, we apply a “Safe Payment Fee” to sellers.

  • Safe payment fee: £0.50 charged to the seller.

4. Buyer safe payment fee

To ensure secure payments, we apply a “Safe Payment Fee” to buyers.

  • Safe payment fee: at Stripe's standard charges.

5. Withdrawal fees

Fees may apply when sellers withdraw earnings to their bank or payment method.

  • Standard withdrawal fee: at Stripe's standard charges.

6. Currency conversion fees

Additional fees apply when converting currencies during transactions.

  • Currency conversion fee: at Stripe's standard charges.

7. Refund fees

Fees may apply in the event of a refund due to a dispute.

  • Refund Processing Fee: 10% of the refunded amount.
  • Refund Fee: £20.00.

7. Fee changes

We and Stripe reserve the right to update or modify our fees at any time. Changes become effective upon posting on our platform. Users are encouraged to review the fee structure periodically.
